WARRANTY POLICY:

All units repaired by ERD carry a two-year warranty of workmanship from date of invoice. Exceptions will be handled on a case by case basis and noted in writing.

If the item fails under warranty - Please use ERD's warranty information form to email / fax your request with a detailed description of the nature of the failure prior to returning the unit to ERD. If our evaluation determines that it is a valid warranty, the unit will be processed as such. Replaced parts that are found to have failed as part of normal operation, misapplication, or improper installation are not covered under workmanship warranty. Parts are only covered if ERD has improperly installed them. ERD does not warranty any application software, user programs or firmware. Units deemed inoperable due to custom application item(s) and/or firmware are not considered a warranty. All invalidated warranties may be charged a minimum of 10% of the original repair charge and may not be released if customer is under credit hold.

Return shipping is only covered at ERD's expense if a unit is repaired under warranty and will only include UPS ground or equivalent shipping any alternative shipping will be at the customer's cost. Any credit given for units that are returned a minimum of 2 times will be in a form of trade credit given towards future repair. Any and all rush fee's are not considered a credit item since it is a fee for starting service upon approval.

Closed Loop System Warranty: Because of the complexity and interaction of a closed loop system, any system that is not fully verified by ERD at the time of the repair will have limited support under the 2 year warranty. Any warranty claims will be discussed with ERD as to what extra components need to be included for warranty evaluation. Any tuning for a closed loop system will incur additional charges.

Without limitation, the above warranty shall not apply to: Items that have been tampered with, repaired, or altered in any manner whatsoever; failed due to misapplications, operations above rated capacities, negligence, improper storage, handling or installation; or an act of God.

Force Majeure: Force Majeure: ERD shall not be liable to buyer for any losses resulting if fulfillment or performance of any term or provision of this Agreement or any Agreement resulting here from is delayed or prevented by revolution or other civil disorders, wars, strikes, labor disputes, partial or complete suspension of operations at either party's affected plants, fires, floods, acts of God, federal, state or municipal actions, statute, ordinance or regulations, or without limiting the foregoing, by any other cause not within its reasonable control and which by the exercise of reasonable diligence it is unable to prevent. Except as specifically set forth above, ERD makes no warranties with respect to parts or equipment it services or sells. ERD expressly excludes any and all implied warranties or fitness of any product for a particular purpose.
